Eminab SynoviCort
SynoviCort® is a competition feed for horses that is given to increase the flexibility of muscles and joints. The main active substance in the product is hyaluronic acid (HA or hyluronan). This supplement is often used to replace glucosamine.
HA also has the job of assisting in the transport of vital substances throughout the body to and from areas that lack their own blood flow, such as cartilage and tendons. In SynoviCort®, in addition to Hyluronic Acid, you also get an excellent addition of a large number of other necessary substances. The chemical structure of hyaluronic acid (HA) was determined in a laboratory by Karl Meyer in the 1950s. HA is a polysaccharide composed of disaccharide units of N-acetylglucosamine and glucoronic acid.
The commercial HA is usually a sodium salt called sodium hyaluronate. HA is found naturally in the body and exists at its highest concentration during the embryo stage and during growth before birth. After birth, the body's production of the substance gradually and completely individually decreases. Therefore, the own production of two individuals of exactly the same age can be completely different.
This product is doping-free according to the Swedish trotting rules, but it is best to check the local rules again.
